Andres Felipe Candiami

andresAndres Felipe Candiami studied at the Music Conservatory from the National University of Colombia. He obtained a degree as Clarinetist Musician with emphasis on Pedagogy in 2006.

From November 2004 to January 2006 he has been selected to represent Colombia in the Sixth and Seventh Latin-American Clarinetists Festival in Caracas, Venezuela. There, he attended master classes with international professors as Jonathan Choler (USA), Luis Rossi (Argentina), Antonio Salote (Portugal), Pablo Sergio Santos (Brazil), Ronald Van Spaendonck (Belgium), Jorge Montilla (Venezuela), and Edgar Pronio (Venezuela).

Since 2006 he has lived in the United States. He has played in many Orchestras and Ensembles in South Florida, such as: Hollywood Philharmonic, South Beach Chamber Ensemble, International School of Music Orchestra, FIU Wind Ensemble, The Treasure Coast Opera Society, Sociedad Pro-Arte Gratelli, Saul Vera Ensemble and South Florida Symphony. Also, he is the Principal Clarinetist from the Miami Symphony Orchestra, MISO.

He has been teaching at the Doral Conservatory & School of the Arts since 2010.
